NORWICH - “Limitations live only in our minds. But if we use our imaginations, our possibilities become limitless.” Donna Frech holds this quote from pro cyclist Jamie Paolinetti to be the mantra of her dance school’s 31st Dance Recital this weekend, titled “Imagination: Let it Soar!”
A melding of heart-warming youngsters and professional-minded dancers, Frech proclaims “Imagination” is the year-end production of the hard work, determination, enthusiasm and commitment given by all her dancers at all levels; and she guarantees it will be a dynamic performance, gracing that of a professional touring company.
“The level these girls achieve through their training is phenomenal,” she said. “It’s more than just a recital. The way we gear the show and present the show, it’s electrifying.”
The recital contains two acts, both abound with seamless transitions and various blends of traditional tap, ballet, jazz, acrobatic, lyrical, hip-hop and modern dance, all providing a non-stop, limitless experience that the show hopes to create.
