MORRIS – The Otsego County Fair is preparing for the 2006 Fair, Aug 1-6. “Despite the recent flooding the fair will go on,” says President Lew Miller. “Entries are being taken for various departments and anyone wanting to enter should call the fair office at 263-5289,” he said.
The fair kicks off on Tuesday, Aug. 1 with NY Sire Stakes Harness Racing at noon and the Fire Service and School Band parade at night followed by fireworks. Wednesday night the Doug Danger Thrill Show is in front of the grandstand. Demo Derbies are Thursday, Friday and twice on Sunday. The Running Brook Farm Rodeo is on Saturday. The Gillette Shows Midway is open daily at noon with 3 Pay-One-Price days.
