NORWICH – This weekend, the Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival will be in town for the 12th year. One of the goals this year was to make the culinary arts just as creative and original as the rest of Colorscape.
“Everyone is in for a huge treat at the court this year,” said Colorscape board member Judy Bleyle.
There will be 10 vendors in the Culinary Court this year. Four will be new and the other six are old favorites. Vegetarian Oasis is one of the new vendors for this year’s festivities. Haling from the Albany area, Vegetarian Oasis will offer a meat-free array of Thai and Indian cuisine.
Chataka, another new addition, has selections they describe as “authentic Indian snacks,” in the form of pocket pastries.
TriniSoul, a new restaurant here in Norwich, will make some of their selections available to the Colorscape crowd, including barbecue chicken and Caribbean sandwiches.
The last of this year’s new vendors is Chenango Memorial Hospital, whose food service department will be providing tropical fruit salads and chicken Caesar wraps.
