B & D Pool and Spa:

• An October opening is planned for B&D Pool and Spa, located on state Route 12 South in the Town of Norwich.

• Store owner/manager Don Osterhout said the floors were poured, sheet rock installed and all lighting, electrical work and plumbing is completed.

• Interior painting, shelving and sidewalks construction occupy most of the work lately.

• Outdoor display pools won’t arrive until spring.

‘06 Flood Disaster infrastructure repair:

• State and federal level emergency management representatives continue to meet with local officials to discuss mitigation plans and funding for flood damaged roadways and bridges.

• Work crews continue to fix shoulders and clean culverts throughout the county.
