NORWICH – Chenango County’s supervisors on Tuesday promised themselves and the majority of their employees 2 percent raises next year, in addition to $500 for full-timers. A dozen employees received higher compensation.

The 2007 compensation schedule as presented passed with two supervisors opposing: Peter C. Flanagan, D-Preston, and James J. McNeil, D-City of Norwich. Town supervisors from Otselic, Guilford and Plymouth were absent.
