NORWICH – The Norwich Fire Department held its annual election of officers for the coming year 2007. Elections were held Tuesday evening at the East Main Street Fire House during a meeting of all volunteer companies and the professional paid firefighters.

Those members voted into Chief positions were incumbent First Assistant Chief Jan Papelino, John Fowlston was returned as Second Assistant Chief and Third Assistant Chief is Daryl Prindle. Fire Department Social officers were elected by the membership to the following positions: Volunteer Association President James Fowlston Sr., Vice President Brenda Carnachan, Secretary Frank Goodrich, Treasurer James Williams.
