Vets Home exhibit honors former Sheriff

OXFORD – Former Chenango County Sheriff Joseph Benenati will turn 94 on Jan. 17, 2007. In honor of his birthday, friend Ed Sidote prepared a display of memorabilia honoring Benenati’s meritorious career in law enforcement at the New York State Veterans’ Home in Oxford, where Benenati now resides.
