Oxford native appointed college’s new dean

CALDWELL, N.J. – Dr. Dennis R. DeLong, originally from Oxford, has been apointed dean of the new Center for Graduate and Continuing Studies at Caldwell College in New Jersey.

Founded in 1939 by the Sisters of Saint Dominic, Caldwell College is a Catholic, co-ed, four year liberal arts institution offering 28 undergraduate degrees and 17 graduate programs. The Center for Graduate and Continuing Studies was recently created to meet the needs of the college’s adult students.

Caldwell’s Vice President and Dean for Academic Affairs, R. Paul Douillard, said DeLong’s “extensive experience with adult students at all levels of collegiate work will be invaluable as we begin this new initiative.”
