NORWICH – A convicted local drug dealer was sent to state prison earlier this week after failing to comply with the terms of her probation.
Danielle R. Magistro pleaded guilty to a felony violation of her probation and was sentenced to one to three years at the Willard Drug Treatment Center, a state corrections facility.
The rehabilitative institute offers a 97-day drug and alcohol program that includes military style routines and conditioning. The facility also provides regular counseling and constant supervision. At the end of the 97-day period, Magistro could be released on parole and let back into the community. She will not have to attend Drug Court or register with probation because parolees are the responsibility of the state.
