A local business with 200 million potential customers

NORWICH – “eBay” – the popular on-line auction – has created a vast customer base of people seeking all types of merchandise, and whole companies have been created to be experts in the art of electronic peddling.

E-Sell-It is a local eBay savvy business that has established itself as a high-ranking and preferred user. The company acquired its status from regularly selling or buying products on eBay and receiving positive feedback from both their perspective buyers and sellers.

“We’ve always been selling things through eBay. We decided to start the business around here, because we didn’t really see a strong market for a lot of miscellaneous things most people might want to get rid of. Instead of keeping that old baseball card set locked up in the attic or throwing them away, you can now put them on the Internet for over 200 million people to look at,” said James M. Knecht, owner.

Knecht operates the business with his wife Tracey.

“Some people don’t have the time or the know-how of getting their merchandise on the website. We’ve made it our hobby and job to create an appealing product that is well advertised in the eBay community. It’s really in our best interest because the only way we’ll ever make money on commission is if you make even more,” said Tracey.
