NEW BERLIN – Every year, seniors gearing up for graduation are required to pick topics to present as their final projects of their high school tenures.
This year, senior Megan Grainger is organizing an event that will teach her the basics of organizing a public event, fundraising and of the responsibilities outside the classroom walls.
Grainger is planning a benefit show for Chase Memorial Nursing Home’s Greenhouse Project Saturday from 6 p.m., to 11 p.m., at the Norwich Family YMCA, located at 68 N. Broad St. in Norwich.
Grainger explained she decided she wanted to put together this benefit because of her interest in music and business management/advertising.
