GREENE – In December, voters in the Greene Central School District will have to decide on a $36 million building project.
“I’m just excited about the possibility of maintaining our great facilities. We are at a time in the funding stream where this is very advantageous for us. We have building aid, EXCEL aid and a building reserve, which combined result in no tax levy increase,” said Greene Superintendent Gary P. Smith.
Greene will bring the proposal up for vote from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 11 in the high school auditorium.
There will be two public informational meetings regarding the project on Tuesday, Nov. 27 and Tuesday, Dec. 4, both at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
