NORWICH – Continuing on with the negotiation process, Norwich school officials and support staff members have not reconciled their differences thus far. Roughly 200 members of the Norwich City Schools support staff have been operating without a contract since the the beginning of the school year.
It was reported by support staff members the last meeting held Nov. 26 showed no real improvement. Although it was decided a written proposal by the support staff would need to be submitted to the Norwich City School Board for review.
School board members can not be present for the negotiation process, however Superintendent Gerard O’Sullivan says the board is well informed of the issues and processes the groups are going through.
