SHERBURNE – Sherburne-Earlville got off to a fast start and never relented in a non-league blowout of Madison Thursday evening.
Megan Record hit two three-pointers in the first quarter leading her club to a 19-4 lead. Every player on the Marauders’ roster eventually scored, and 18 of S-E’s 19 baskets had assists. “My kids were fired up for this one,” said S-E coach Jeff Barry. “They are an unselfish team that looks for each other, and they play great defense. That’s why they are doing so well this season.”
Karli Harris added nine points for S-E (13-2), who host unbeaten Cooperstown Monday night.
