GEORGETOWN – Sixth grade students at Otselic Valley Elementary School have been studying the dangers of burning plastic, and after finishing their lesson plans, the students decided they wanted to help educate the public about what they learned.
Last month, the students made posters depicting the reason burning plastic is dangerous and the many health related problems it can cause. The posters were displayed at the Otselic Valley Health and Wellness Fair, which took place in conjunction with the Annual Autism Awareness Walk. Currently, the posters are on display in the hallway outside the student’s classroom.
