Norwich 3, Windsor 0
WINDSOR – Norwich welcomed back midfielder Elisha Eddy, and the junior all-star had three assists to top scorer Sarah Bonnell in the Tornado’s shutout win Wednesday.
Eddy went down with a concussion midway through the second game of the season, and was cleared to play this week. “Our team just draws off (Eddy), and it gives our whole team more confidence,” said Norwich coach Jeremy Bolton.
Bonnell scored all of her goals in the first half to give her seven tallies on the season. The first was a through ball from Eddy four minutes into the game, the second after a cross, and the third was a rebound off an Eddy shot that caromed off the post.
Tatyana Ithier made three saves to notch her first shutout.
