Greene 101, Cooperstown 45
GREENE – Greene extended its Midstate Athletic Conference winning streak to 37 meets dating back to the 2001 season winning all but two events Thursday against Cooperstown.
George Flanagan had four total wins including the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke. Patrick Kelsey and Jacob Owens contributed three total victories for Greene (1-1).
“We put forth a superior effort tonight,” said Greene coach Mike Platta. “We swam well against Johnson City, but there was extra incentive tonight in our first league meet.”
