SHERBURNE – Sherburne-Earlville completed its first regular season sweep of Cooperstown since joining Section III's Center State Conference Monday.
The Marauders, who had just one win over Cooperstown entering the season, jumped out to a 33-20 halftime lead. Caitlynn Adams hit two three-pointers and scored 14 of her game-high 16 points. Megan Record added six points in the first quarter.
"I'm really happy with the way our offense is playing right now," said S-E coach Karen Mulligan. "We pushed the ball up the floor, and we were able to score a lot of easy baskets in transition."
Record and Bridget Irwin finished with 10 points apiece. Irwin added seven rebounds and five steals. The Marauders (6-2, 11-4) play at Otselic Valley Friday.
