SMYRNA – U.S. Rep. Michael A. Arcuri (D-Utica) has announced $73,601 for the Smyrna Fire Company through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) program for operations and safety enhancements.

“All homeland security begins with our local fire departments,” said Arcuri, a member of the Congressional Fire Services Caucus. “That is why I am pleased to announce this federal grant to help the Smyrna Fire Company perform the important work they do so well.”
