Norwich educator earns state scholarship

ALBANY – The New York State Council of School Superintendents has awarded scholarships, in the amount of $2,500 to Kistin Giglio of the Norwich City Schools (attending SUNY Cortland with a major in Educational Administration) and Kusum Sinha of the Croton-Harmon School District (attending St. John’s University, majoring in Educational Leadership) at the Council’s recent Mid-Winter Conference.

These annual scholarships began in 1998 to show commitment to minorities and women interested in entering the field of educational administration and are awarded to candidates enrolled in a graduate study program through which the School District Administrator Certificate or Doctoral Degree may be awarded.
