NORTH NORWICH – Two employees were layed off and the hours of operation were slashed on April 1st at the Lt. Warren E. Eaton/Chenango County Airport.

Gamma Aviation Airport Manager James Baciuska said the airport would shut down fueling, parking and maintenance services on the weekends.

“I think the industry as a whole is seeing a downturn. There’s no doubt,” he said.
