NORWICH – The Norwich Police Department arrested the following individuals after conducting a search of an apartment located at 29 Court St in the City of Norwich.

• Kevin J. Dunmire, age 28 residing at 29 Court St Apt 1B Norwich

Charges: Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 3rd degree [B felony] (Crack cocaine), Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 4th [C Felony] (psychedelic mushrooms), Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 7th [A Misd] (ecstasy, powder cocaine, alprazolam), Unlawful Possession of Marijuana [Violation]

• Heather M. Bradley, age 25 residing at 29 Court St Apt 1B Norwich

Charges: Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 3rd degree [B felony] (Crack cocaine), Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 7th [A Misd] (ecstasy, powder cocaine, alprazolam), Unlawful Possession of Marijuana [Violation]

Tuesday morning, June 30, at about 9 a.m., Norwich Police officers, accompanied by a representative of the New York State Division of Parole conducted a search of the Dunmire residence. This search was conducted under the auspices of the fact that Dunmire is a convicted felon in parole status for a prior conviction on a charge of Attempted 1st degree burglary. Officers located several controlled substances in various quantities, paraphernalia for the use and distribution of illegal substances and other items of contraband including several hundred dollars in US currency. Both subjects are being held at the Norwich Police station awaiting arraignment in City Court.
