PLYMOUTH – Norwich’s Gabe Leibundgut picked the perfect time to make his score count.

Leibundgut, who has played in five of Norwich’s six matches, shot a match-low 39 over the front nine at Canasawacta Country Club to lead the Tornado to its fourth win of the season. It was the first time this season in which Leibundgut’s score counted toward the final team total. “Bogey golf is what we expect from Gabe, so for him to shoot 39 was certainly huge,” said Norwich coach Bob Branham. “It was the difference for us in this match.”

Jacob Kelly and Eric Walling came in with 42s for Norwich (4-2), Ryan Hagen was next at 44, and Frank Somich posted a 45.
