NEW BERLIN – Established in 1981, with a goal to please the audience, The Woods Tea Company can be enjoyed in concert at the Unadilla Valley Central School Saturday, Oct. 3 starting at 7 p.m. This is a musical group that defies categorization with their acoustical bluegrass, Celtic tunes, sea shanties and folk songs perform all with equal ease and skill. The group draws on a wide variety of musical experience and expression. They employ as many as a dozen different instruments including banjoes and bouzoukis, guitars and bodhrán.
After building a solid reputation in New England, The Wood’s Tea Company began touring a nationwide circuit. The group performs about 120 days a year, playing at venues ranging from town greens to high school & college auditoriums, churches and from pubs to Lincoln Center, offering their diverse set of musical talents.
