Oxford varsity boys’ soccer coach, Matt Dorman, gave prospective players an offseason workout to prepare for this season. Dorman’s notion was to have his players already in shape on the first day of practice.
“I knew only four or five would probably do it,” Dorman said, who was expressing a realistic expectation. “I showed Kyle (Ferrington) the workout, and he laughed.”
Ferrington was already conducting his own personal workouts that not only met the coach’s conditioning expectations, but exceeded them.
