NORWICH – A 2007 Norwich High School graduate is among an elite honor guard selected to represent the United States Marine Corps at the dedication of the USS New York this week.

PFC John Paul Squires, son of Julie Squires and grandson of Mary Ann Squires of Norwich, was one of four Marines from Camp Lejeune, N.C. picked to represent the Corps at the welcoming and dedication ceremonies in New York City this week.
