HAMILTON – “On your marks, get set, let’s play HIGH SCHOOL FEUD!” Based on that popular game show of the 80’s, Family Feud, Hamilton High School accepts the challenge by Cazenovia High School for a fun spirited evening on Sunday, Jan. 31 at 4 p.m. that will raise money for two terrific causes. A snow date of Sunday, Feb. 14 is set. The teams will compete, guessing “to the best of their knowledge and wit” the top responses to the surveyed questions. Which team will emerge as the winner? Who will pass, play, steal or strike? The team that plays together – definitely wins together!
While this is an afternoon of fun games, the causes selected by both teams are heartwarming and completely unselfish. Hamilton High School is raising money for the Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse, a health center that helps children with life-threatening illnesses. Cazenovia High School is raising money to help the family of Taylor Matt, a senior battling Leukemia currently receiving care at Golisano. Morgan Christiansen, Cazenovia Junior PTSA, reports Cazenovia community has rallied to support many fund raising efforts to support the Matt family and Taylor’s battle with cancer.
