NORWICH – City officials met Saturday for an open house to showcase the newly-constructed home at 52 Fair St., made possible by grant money awarded the city through the Restore New York program.
They also discussed the upcoming rehabilitation of the commercial property located at 24 East Main St. The second round of the Restore New York program provided the city with approximately $300,000 to revitalize downtown properties considered unsightly or unsafe.
While the houses located on Fair and Waite streets remain on the market, for $108,000 and $100,000 respectively, the 23 Grove Ave. home is now in the final stages of being sold.
