COOPERSTOWN – Cooperstown snagged the lead from S-E with a quick start to the third quarter, and ended S-E’s Center State Conference division title hopes on Thursday.
Kyle Liner and Mike Moakler, who each had six points in the first meeting with the Marauders (a 57-51 S-E win) combined for 26 last night with Moakler scoring 14 and Liner 12.
“We really didn’t shoot well as a team tonight and we didn’t rebound well,” said S-E coach Kevin Vibbard. “Last time at our place, we came out and outscored them big in the third quarter. This time they beat us in the third quarter.”
Sean Boise was the lone S-E player with double figures scoring totaling 26 points. S-E (9-8) finishes its regular season next Thursday at Westmoreland.
