GREENE – Those who missed out on last week’s Mardi Gras revelry will have another chance this weekend as the Greater Greene Chamber of Commerce hosts its second annual Mardi Gras dinner dance.
This year’s function will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday night at the Genegantslet Golf Club. Tickets, which will be available at the door, are $20 per person or $35 per couple.
According to GGCC’s new executive director, Stefanie Hartman, the event will feature a Creole-inspired buffet and music by DJ Jimmy “B.”
The Mardi Gras event is the first Hartman has had a hand in planning. The mother of 4 assumed the chamber’s top spot on Feb. 1, replacing Deb and Joe Eggleston who served as co-executive directors for the past two years.
