CHENANGO COUNTY – Chenango County 4-H Youth have spent the month of March competing in regional horse and dairy knowledge competitions with outstanding results. From hippology to horse bowl to dairy bowl, members have shined! 

Chenango County sent 13 youth to the hippology contest at El Rancho de Pas in Tioga County on March 6. The Novice teams were 3rd and 4th respectively while the Junior team was 3rd and the Senior Team finished 3rd.  Individually, Chenango fielded 3 of the Top 10 Novice: Logan Stoltman 3rd, Eli Stoltman 9th, Kaitlyn Stoltman 10th; Juniors: Nathan Turrell 5th; Seniors: Kayla Geier 5th, and Megan Brandt 7th. Nathan and Kayla are eligible to compete at the State 4-H Hippology Contest at the NY State Fair.
