OXFORD – An Oxford man was rushed to Wilson Regional Medical Center Thursday after the tractor he was operating along the roadway stalled and rolled backwards down a steep hill, crashing into a ditch.

The operator of the tractor, Randy Dungey, 21, of Oxford, was taken by ambulance to Wilson after suffering unknown back and neck injuries. Crews originally called for a helicopter to fly Dungey from the accident, but later canceled the request after arriving at the scene.
