OXFORD – 6 On The Square (6OTS) announces the opening of its second solo art exhibit of the 2010 season. With a formal opening reception this Friday from 5-7 p.m., local photographer Kathy Coates will present two dozen of her photographs, depicting country life and the spirit of America through her camera lens.

A “slice of life” for Coates is everything from joyful family activities and sublime Chenango County landscapes, to somber views of “Ground-Zero”, the space once occupied by the Twin Towers in New York City.
