BAINBRIDGE – Oxford made head coach Dennis Smith’s coaching debut a successful one.

Justin Schray scored twice in the first half, and added his third in the second 40 minutes to complete the hat trick. Adam Anthony and Austin Crandall also had goals for the Blackhawks, and Brandon McConnell made four saves in goal to record the shutout.

“We didn’t have many scoring opportunities in the beginning,” Smith said. “We started to work it around well to Justin, and he took care of it for us. We just have to continue to move the ball, and everything will be all right.”
