NORWICH – The College Board is pleased to recognize students at Norwich High School who have earned AP Scholar Awards based on their outstanding academic performance on AP Exams.
Two graduates from the class of 2010 qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. These students are Patrick Bankich and Christopher Kappel.
Two other students from the graduating class of 2010 qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. These students are Sean Gagnon and Matthew Krush.
Norwich High School also had five students qualify for the AP Scholar Award, which is granted to students who complete three or more AP Exams with scores of 3 or higher. The AP Scholars from the graduating class of 2010 are Andrew Austin and Alison Brown. Three students from this year’s senior class have also been named AP Scholars: Lucas Follett, Reva Seager, and Frank Somich.
Due to this information being received in September 2010, the students that are not in the photo have graduated and are off to college.
