NORWICH – The Chenango County Council of the Arts has scheduled a Business/Arts breakfast for Dec. 9 in the Martin W. Kappel Theater, 27 W. Main St., Norwich.

Titled “The Business/Arts Connection,” the 7:30 a.m. breakfast will feature Randy Cohen, vice-president of Local Arts Advancement at Americans for the Arts, the nation’s advocacy organization for the arts. Cohen is charged with ensuring that every community and arts organization in America is served by a local arts agency – and that every community in America is an environment where the arts can thrive. Combining the strengths of research, advocacy, professional development, and member services, Cohen leads a team who strengthen the nation’s network of 5,000 local arts agencies. His speech at the breakfast is titled “The Arts Mean Business.”
