NORWICH – This week the Norwich City School District music department will be presenting its annual middle school and high school winter concerts.

On Wednesday, the middle school music department will be presenting their concert featuring the 6th grade and 7th and 8th grade choirs under the direction of Jamie Carrier, the 6th grade and 7th and 8th grade bands under the direction of Amy Rogers and the 6th, 7th and 8th grade string ensemble under the direction of Mark Sands.

 The concert will take place in the Norwich High School auditorium, starting at 7 p.m. The snow date is Tuesday, Dec. 21. Admission is free.

On Thursday, the Norwich high school music department will be presenting their concert featuring the Treble Choir, Mixed Choir and Madrigal Singers under the direction of Mary Mayo, the Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Lansing Dimon and the String Ensemble under the direction of Mark Sands.

 The concert will also take place in the Norwich High School auditorium starting at 7 p.m.  The snow date is Tuesday, Dec. 21. Again admission is free.
