NORWICH – Local businesses, non-profits and other community groups will have a chance to showcase their products and services this spring during the 2011 Chenango County Community Expo and Job Fair.

The event, which will be free and open to the public, will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 7 at The Giant’s Warehouse, 5176 County Road 32 in Norwich.

“The purpose of the CCC Expo and Job Fair is to showcase products, services, businesses and job opportunities in the Chenango County area,” explained Kerri Green of Celebration Creations, the Sidney-based wedding and event planning firm which is coordinating the event in conjunction with sponsors Smith Ford LLC/The Giant’s Warehouse and the Central New York Radio Group.

Green, who has hosted business expos in both Delaware and Otsego Counties, said it has been several years since Chenango has seen a similar event.
