Biodiesel company still looking to lease space in former Elmer’s Glue plant

BAINBRIDGE – Auburn BioDiesel is still interested in leasing space in the former adhesive manufacturing facility in Bainbridge, according to the company’s president.

David Colegrove, who heads up the Skaneatles-based alternative fuel company, confirmed this week he still intends to lease a portion of the former Elmer’s Glue plant on County Road 38 in the Town of Bainbridge. The facility, which has sat vacant since 2006, was purchased at auction in August by Bob Allen of R.O. Allen & Son Portable Storage.

The Broome County business man payed $150,000 for the 54,000 square foot facility and the 19 acres on which it sits, less than a third of the property’s assessed value of $490,359.
