The Fighter - There are a lot of things out there that will make people fight the odds no matter what. Based on a true story, “Irish Micky” Ward (Mark Wahlberg) was just the guy to do that. His brother Dicky (Christian Bale) was always there for him and was a fighter in his own right. The wrong choices and drugs took Dicky’s life in another direction. Micky decided to take control but wanted his brother in his corner. The only way he could do that was to go all the way to the top with Dicky in his corner and having the determination of a champion isn’t altogether bad either. Find out how well Dicky and Micky did in this terrific story. Bale and co star Melissa Leo took home Best Supporting Actor and Actress for their performances in the movie. Also, Bale returns with Anne Hathaway for “The Dark Knight Rises” in theaters Next Summer.
