OXFORD – Janet Laytham, High School Principal, has announced the five top honor students at Oxford Academy & Central High School. They are listed in ranked order from one to five with the honors earned and major activities:

Katherine Woodford, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. RC Woodford, Green Street, Oxford, New York is a member of the National Honor Society. She has been on the track team for the past four years and holds several school and league records. She is a recognized leader and was nominated as the National Association of Dance and Affiliated Arts (NADAA) Youth representative in 2006 and she was nominated for Girls State leadership program and the Rotary Youth Leadership Program (RYLA) both in 2010. She has worked and volunteered at her church, with Girl Scouts, and as a summer reading assistant in Oxford Academy’s primary school. Katie will be attending Cornell University in the fall.
