SHERBURNE – Between 300 and 400 motorcyclists – a number of them veterans of war – gathered in and around Gilligan’s Island on North Main Street Wednesday night to honor Corporal Joseph S. Tremblay and the thousands of other soldiers who have given their lives while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
On display at the event, held on the same day as Sherburne’s weekly Bike Night, was a custom-made, Marine Tribute Bike, built by Cross Roads Custom Rides. Tremblay’s father, Laurence, said the intricately detailed motorcycle was “built for one, dedicated to a few and honors all who have fought for our country.”
