NORWICH – The Chenango County Council of the Arts was host to an exhibit opening last Friday displaying aspects of the Norwich High School’s spring musical, “The Phantom of the Opera.” Set pieces, props and costumes are available to view as well as extensive information about the process of bring the Phantom to life.
“People get a chance to see backstage,” said Matthew Grenier, lighting and set designer for the show. “To say [this] is a gallery exhibit ... well it is, but there is so much more than that. It’s more like a museum exhibit. The opening was accompanied by some of the actors performing songs from the April production.
