SHERBURNE – Sherburne-Earlville passed a big test against Center State Conference division newcomer Clinton Monday night.
Briana Vibbard, Sarah Cole, and Jordan Van Althuis scored first-half goals for the Marauders, who needed to withstand consistent offensive pressure from Clinton in the second half.
“The first half was probably the best we’ve played this season,” said S-E coach Kylie Davis. “Clinton definitely came back at us strong in the second half.”

NORWICH – Chenango Forks scored six of its goals after halftime, as it poured it on against a Norwich team that had just 11 healthy players and no substitutes available Monday afternoon.
Megan Plahanski scored four times for the Blue Devils, and Mariya Perheny had two goals in the win. Norwich plays Windsor on Wednesday.
