Sherburne-Earlville 3, Waterville 1
SHERBURNE – Sherburne-Earlville remained unbeaten in Center State Conference play (4-0-1) jumping out to a 2-0 halftime lead over Waterville Wednesday.
Playing on Waterville’s turf field, the Marauders struggled with their passing early on before scoring at the 22-minute mark. “The touches were a little off. It’s a lot faster surface, and the girls had to adjust,” said S-E coach Kylie Davis of the turf.
