NORWICH – Anyone who wishes to enter a float in the annual YMCA Halloween Parade must sign up by Monday, Oct. 24. There is no fee to enter. The parade will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29. Applications are available at the Norwich Family YMCA.

Last year, the YMCA Halloween Parade had three school floats, four business floats and several family floats along with many walkers. Currently, only two floats are registered for this year’s parade, but the YMCA would like at least a dozen floats participating. An awards ceremony will take place in West Side Park following the parade, rain or shine.
