NORWICH – As the fall air becomes colder and children seek indoor activities, the City of Norwich Youth Bureau extends an invitation to youth interested in bowling as an indoor activity.
The Youth Bureau is partnering with the Norwich Elks Lodge this fall to offer a youth bowling program for children in grades 1 to 4. The program, which will be free of charge, begins 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Norwich Elks Lodge. Anyone interested is encouraged to sign up as soon as possible.
“This is the first time a fall bowling program at the Elks Lodge is being offered,” said Robert Mason, director of the Youth Bureau. “Winter youth bowling was held last year and was so successful, this fall activity has been planned.”
There are typically 20 spots available for the Elks Lodge youth bowling, said Mason. If more than 20 children are interested for fall bowling, there may be a possibility of having two separate groups.
