NEW BERLIN – The Punt, Pass and Kick competition sponsored by the Village and Milford Academy drew 32 participants Saturday and surpassed expectations, said Mayor Terry Potter.
“It’s been such a good turn out,” said Potter. “All of the kids that have shown up are having a great time.”
Potter explained there were three age groups: 8 and under, 9-11, and 12-15. Children in each age group had two chances to punt, pass and kick the football as far as they could.
In the 8 and under category, Ryan Baker of Norwich took first place with Marcus Proskine taking second and Bryant Switzer placing third.
Dante Dye of New Berlin took first place in the 9-11 age group with Scott Manwarren receiving second and Thomas Parrella third.
