Absentees, Write-ins Don't Change Election Results

NORWICH – Absentee ballots did not make a difference in any close vote counts for government positions, and the general election results stand, said Chenango County Board of Elections Republican Commissioner Harriet Jenkins this morning.

Newly elected officers, including seven new Chenango County supervisors, will take their official seats in January.
