The Chenango County Fire Police held its annual award and banquet program at Fred’s Inn recently. Pictured at the Norwich Fire Station Monday night are this year’s honorees: Rick McConnell of the Oxford Fire Department, honored as Fire Police of the Year and the organization’s current president; Ken Sheldon of the McDonough Fire Department, honored with a Lifetime Membership to the Chenango County Fire Police and Norwich Fire Chief Tracy Chawgo.
